As an Upstate New York resident, I love the opportunity to make it to New Jersey for an incredible wedding and it’s always worth it when I do! Michelle and Michael got married on July 3rd. It was an absolutely beautiful summer day. What better way to spend the long weekend, right? Actually, Michelle and Michael were initially slated to get married last April 2020! When COVID hit, they postponed their wedding until May 2021. As May 2021 approached, they made the thoughtful decision to postpone again to July, to make sure people had enough time to get vaccinated. Listen, it is NOT easy to go through so many changes before your wedding day. Michelle and Michael were truly so incredible during the entire process. They approached each postponement and change with so much understanding and grace. Now we can officially say, the 455-day delay was worth the wait!
Getting Ready Photos at the Mansion at Natirar
I always appreciate a wedding venue with two gorgeous getting-ready locations (for each member of the wedding party) and the Mansion at Natirar sure delivered. The ladies got ready directly at the venue and the gentleman got ready at Ninety Acres which was on the same property as the venue. Both locations were absolutely perfect – the Mansion at Natirar offered large windows and lots of natural light for me to photograph the details, and the Ninety Acres offered a pool table to keep the guys relaxed and having fun. Let’s face it – they never seem to take as long to get ready!
A Beautiful Summer Wedding in New Jersey at the Mansion at Natirar
From their first look until the last dance of the night, Michelle and Michael’s wedding was filled with joy. I loved how they used a bright, joyful color palette (make sure to scroll through all of the photos!) and had wide smiles in every single photograph. We were anxiously watching the weather forecast for the weekend but truly, it was an absolutely stunning day. The rain held off until the reception began!! We were able to enjoy an outdoor first look, wedding ceremony, and open-air cocktail hour. As a photographer, I can’t help but love when we can take advantage of the natural light!
Editorial-style Wedding Photography
I genuinely hope you enjoyed reliving Michelle and Michael’s wedding day as much as I have. I met this gorgeous wedding couple all the way back in 2019. After that, I photographed their engagement session in February of 2020 – before the entire world shut down. When I tell you this wedding at the Mansion at Natirar was highly anticipated, I am not exaggerating. I couldn’t want for these two to finally tie the knot and the celebration was absolutely beautiful.
