As an editorial wedding photographer, I love when my couples are obsessed with capturing every detail as much as I am which is why I am so excited to share this incredible Park Chateau wedding with you today. I have been lucky enough to photograph Laura and Mike a few different times over the past couple years. Honestly, I really adore them both. In each interaction, they are so wonderful and it’s been an absolute privilege getting to know them so well over the past couple of years.

As you will see below, Laura was really involved in the wedding planning process and selecting all of the details that went in to make this incredible Park Chateau wedding a reality. You can feel the love in every turn so this extra care did not go unnoticed.

Beautiful New York Bridal Shower

When Laura invited me to photograph their beautiful New York bridal shower, I couldn’t wait to see all of the details. I already knew she had amazing taste from the wedding plans so far. It was definitely one of the most elegant bridal showers I have ever attended. I adored the details at every turn. I felt completely in my element: enough time to capture all of the details and couple portraits before the guests started to arrive.

Park Chateau Wedding in New Jersey

Like I mentioned earlier, Laura took great care in working with each and every wedding vendor on the details. I love how her wedding day turned out to be a perfect fairytale reflection of her amazing taste and Park Chateau’s stunning venue. Starting with the getting ready photos, we were able to capture her custom wedding invitations, the stunning lace detail on her wedding dress, their personal vow books. The bridal suite at Park Chateau was gorgeous. As a wedding photographer, I loved the large windows and abundance of natural light. We created the most stunning getting ready portraits from every angle.

A Classic Wedding Color Palette Brought to Life

After a sweet and emotional first look, we headed to their beautiful indoor wedding ceremony location which was adorned in classic white florals, an abundance of greenery, and warm candles. This classic color palette has never looked so good! After the ceremony, we took a few classic wedding day portraits with their family and wedding party. Once the reception setup was complete, we took a few more photos inside before their guests showed up.

I highly recommend working something like a “reception reveal” into your wedding day timeline. Like Laura, I’m sure you spent a considerable amount of time choosing the details you want on your wedding day. Give yourself a private chance to enjoy them!
