I always love a black-and-white wedding color palette, and this modern wedding at Windridge Estates Redbarn 20 was an absolute highlight of 2022 here at Laura Rose Weddings. Olivia and David were an absolute delight to photograph at one of my favorite New York wedding venues and I can’t wait to share all of the modern wedding details and decor from their gorgeous wedding day.

A First Look Before Their Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

I am always delighted when couples opt for an outdoor first look before their wedding ceremony. As your wedding photographer, I love to capture the raw emotions and the love that radiates from the soon-to-be newlyweds. Olivia and Tim’s first look was no exception – each time I looked through my lens it was like being invited into their private oasis of wedding day emotions. After their first look, surrounded by the gorgeous landscape of Windridge Estates Redbarn 20, I started taking classic wedding portraits of Olivia and Tim before their ceremony.

Windridge Estates Redburn 20 is already one of my favorite wedding venues in New York, and the modern and minimalist wedding decor Olivia and Tim chose only enhanced the iconic views of the location. If you are envisioning overlooking the rolling hills of picturesque Upstate New York, this outdoor wedding ceremony should provide all of the encouragement you need. From the unique black arch to the abundance of white wedding florals, everything was impeccable.

Modern Wedding Inspiration Amidst the Rustic Wedding Venue

The contrast between the more rustic feel of Windridge Estates Redbarn 20 and the modern black and white wedding reception decor that Olivia and Tim chose created an overall look that felt elegant and uniquely theirs. I still can’t get over all of the monochromatic white floral arrangements that Oops A Daisy Florals put together for the two of them. It was an evening as joyful as it was beautiful.

Olivia and Tim’s wedding day ended with sunset photos in front of Windridge Estates Redbarn 20, a lot of dancing, and a scotch and cigar bar. It was a flawless event from start to finish, and I felt beyond honored I was trusted to capture it all.
