This love story is truly one for the books. Meet Brittany and Jake, talented performers who travel the world entertaining on cruise ships. They first crossed paths on the Pearl, a Norwegian Cruise Line ship. Their engagement took place in the breathtaking Maui. On top of an incredible love story, this wedding at Hotel Syracuse holds a special spot in my heart because of the bride’s mom: Cindy.

Cindy, the bride’s mom, took charge of all the planning since Brittany was frequently difficult to reach while traveling for work. However, they did decide to enlist a last-minute coordinator to ensure that both Brittany and Cindy could fully savor this special day. I’m so glad they did. I can’t wait to share all of the exquisite details and memorable moments here on the blog today.

Can I pause here for a moment and gush over Brittany’s gorgeous bouquet? It was a masterpiece, with its stems wrapped in material from Cindy’s own wedding gown, containing delicate lace and pearls that had witnessed thirty-five years of love. A small picture frame, carefully attached to the bouquet, held a cherished photograph of the bride’s late paternal grandmother, a beautiful way to honor her memory.

Cindy’s contributions continue with a gorgeous white floral backdrop that she made herself. It stood tall and graceful, radiating an ethereal beauty that added an elegant touch to Brittany and Jake’s wedding ceremony. The wedding of Brittany and Jake had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic. I must say, the wait was worth it. The ceremony was nothing short of extraordinary.

Brittany and Jake’s wedding was a delightful blend of beauty and joy. The Hotel Syracuse, an exquisite wedding venue in Upstate New York, provided a stunning backdrop for their special day. The couple adorned the venue with tasteful simplicity, adding an elegant touch. It was an incredible evening.
