The wedding of Grace and Ben was a stunning celebration in Rochester, NY, at the Genesee Valley Club, held on a beautiful day in late May. I couldn’t wait to showcase this unforgettable event on the blog today. Ellie Clap from Celebrated Events brilliantly orchestrated the wedding as their planner, and it was an absolute honor for me to capture their precious moments on such a remarkable day. If you are considering a wedding at Genesee Valley Club, I believe you’ll adore all of the lovely details that came together for this beautiful day.
Before we go any further, can we have a moment for the dress? An incredibly talented designer from Ukraine designed Grace’s breathtaking bridal gown.
A Meaningful Ceremony at Third Presbyterian Church
Grace and Ben opted for Third Presbyterian Church as the venue for their ceremony, conveniently located just a few blocks away from the Genesee Valley Club. Because the ceremony venue was so close, we were able to enjoy a delightful stroll to and from the church with their wedding party. On top of that, both Grace and Ben are esteemed members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Grace serves as the principal harpist and Ben as a cellist. Infusing the celebration with a personal touch, they took it upon themselves to write and compose much of the music that was performed during and leading up to the ceremony, resulting in an extraordinary and truly unforgettable experience for their guests.
A Timeless Wedding Reception at Genesee Valley Club
After the ceremony, the reception of Grace and Ben was a delightful affair. Stunning florals and an abundance of flickering candles adorned every table. It’s hard to put into words the ambiance (that’s why you hire a photographer, right?). Among my many cherished moments, one that stands out the most is their first dance. Grace and Ben chose to perform a beautifully choreographed dance to the timeless music from Dirty Dancing. It was such a special moment!
As a NY wedding photographer, I travel all over our gorgeous state (and beyond!). But, I do have a special place in my heart for weddings right here in Rochester.
