Genevieve and Andrew got married in Oyster Bay, New York at her parent’s home. However, if you are picturing a last minute BBQ backyard wedding, this was far from it! Their home was INCREDIBLE. If you are familiar with me or my work, you know that I am obsessed with all of the details that make up your day. From the bride and groom’s emotional first look, to an over the top outdoor wedding reception (make sure to check out the incredible greenery chandeliers!), no detail was overlooked. If you’ve ever considered a home wedding (and are fortunate enough to have access to a gorgeous private estate), this was one for the books.

A Big Family Wedding

Although the wedding was one of the most gorgeous I have ever photographed, that’s not what I remember most about Genevieve and Andrew’s wedding. As a wedding photographer, the only thing I cherish more than my career are my husband and children. The connection Genevieve had with her family was absolutely incredible. It warmed my whole heart. The bride has seven brothers and they were all gorgeous and just so much fun. Genevieve’s sister was her maid of honor and you could feel how close they are in every reaction. They kept their family at the center of everything and as a wedding photographer

An Elegant Church Ceremony & A Fun Outdoor Wedding Reception

Choosing your wedding locations is often one of the first decisions you make in the wedding planning process. Genevieve and Andrew had the most gorgeous church wedding with stained glass windows and dramatic vaulted ceilings. Their home wedding was over the top with decor: from greenery chandeliers, an abundance of string lights, and breathtaking florals. More than that, they added fun experiences for their wedding guests to enjoy. From live music to a giant champagne bottle. A word to the wise, gorgeous weddings don’t have to feel stuffy. There was nothing but big smiles and lots of laughter at Genevieve and Andrew’s wedding.
