Ashley and Max’s wedding at Inns of Aurora was awe-inspiring from start to finish, from their warm and inviting modern fall color palette to their iconic Finger Lakes wedding venue. If you’ve been wondering if a trip Upstate is worth the drive, let me persuade you with the views. It was a true joy to capture Ashley and Max’s wedding day, and it’s always a treat to work with their wedding planner, Desiree, and the team at Verve Event Co, too!
A Classic and Romantic Wedding Ceremony on the Lake
The Inns of Aurora is a highly sought-after wedding venue situationed on Cayuga Lake and these photos will show you why. The aisle was adorned with greenery and white florals, in a way that felt luxurious yet understated. In what was a short, yet incredibly sweet outdoor wedding ceremony on the lake, both Ashley and Max made use of their handkerchiefs. It was memorable and magical.
Cocktail Hour and an Evening Reception at Inns of Aurora
Throughout the evening, both the happy couple and their guests were able to sneak out to the lake and enjoy a sunset boatride. Watching these were one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. Anytime you can incorporate a unique experience into your wedding day, you should take advantage of the opportunity.
As for the reception, the open air nature of the venue made everything feel effortless. Additionally, the decor was minimal and impactful. Everything included enhanced the romantic ambiance Ashley and Max wanted to create.
Finishing off the evening, Ashley wowed us with a reception dress. Then, her and Max broke into a spectacularly choreographed first dance. The evening was truly flawless from start to finish and I could not be happier for these newlyweds to embark on their next chapter together!
I am counting down the days until I return to this dreamy Finger Lakes wedding venue again. If you are considering a wedding at Inns of Aurora, consider this your gentle nudge. You won’t regret it. Want to see more of this incredible wedding? Read the full feature from Verve Event Co here.
