Vicky and Jeff’s wedding was truly unforgettable. From an outdoor wedding ceremony on Vicky’s uncle’s property on Skaneateles lake to a blissful evening reception at Skaneateles Country Club, it was absolute perfection from the moment I arrived to capture their wedding details to the last dance of the night. Adorned with classic blue wedding details and some of the most luscious florals I have ever seen, this wedding was truly one for the books.

While Vicky got ready at a guest cabin on her uncle’s Skaneateles lake property, Jeff and the guys got ready just down the road at Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles. The parties in attendance were so sweet and featured Jeff’s identical twin as his best man and Vicky’s sister as her maid of honor.

First Look + Wedding Portraits on Skaneateles Lake

Once the nearlyweds were ready, they couldn’t hide their joy as I set them up for their first look. Their love for one another was illuminated against the glorious Finger Lakes backdrop, and this first look became a special moment that neither of them would ever forget. After a few outdoor wedding portraits, their wedding party joined us to continue the celebration. The gentlemen wore sophisticated black suits while Vicky’s bridal party was dressed in elegant blue floor-length bridesmaid dresses; the classic combination being an embodiment of timeless beauty and luxury.

Outdoor Wedding on Skaneateles Lake

Vicky and Jeff’s summer wedding was the picture of romance and grandeur. On a scorching summer day in July, they were surrounded by perfect views of Skaneateles Lake while their friends and family watched in awe. All eyes were on the newlyweds as they ceremoniously professed their vows to one another against the iconic water of the Finger Lakes.

Once they were pronounced husband and wife, guests were whisked away to for their wedding at Skaneateles Country club reception. The couple hopped onto a boat for a private celebration of just-married bliss before making their return to land for wedding festivities. I joined them to capture the moment.
